Electric Eel 6 bobbin, Christmas Tree Design

Welcome Christmas!
With the first snowfall happening, its time to get into the holiday spirit.
This brand new Christmas tree bobbin is laden with joy. From the red and green charismas baubles to the snow covered tip!

This new bobbin is larger then the original designs. It is wider at the rim and also features a whole newly designed shaft which is much narrower then the original while still allowing for a bearing inside. See the photo of the shafts for comparison. It continues to feature a slit in the bobbin shaft for the leader line to be easily attached and spun.

How much more fiber can you spin on this bobbin? Well test spins put 4 oz two plied at half a bobbin and continuing to try to max it out. This will of course depend on your spinning technique and desired thickness of your yarn! I would love to see how much YOU can fit on this bobbin! This bobbin fits inside both the manual flyer and the level winding system flyer.

OR Choose if you want this bobbin to be monochromatic. If you choose monochromatic option, please tell me the single color you would like your entire bobbin.

Each custom bobbin is unique. The colors will be variable throughout printing and we cannot guarantee what color the bobbin ends start or end on.
You may see small lines in the bobbins especially along the shaft, This is part of the 3d printing process.
I have attempted to share photos of many different bobbins in order to show clearly the different colors that can appear as the bobbins are created! The rainbows are fun and exciting.

3D Print Disclaimer: 3D Printing leaves subtle variations on the print including lines and fill. It can create variations in the color print as well. Gradients and rainbow prints cannot be guarantied on which color the gradient starts and finishes. Please don't leave them next to direct heat such as fireplaces, stoves or heating vents, Don't leave them in direct sunlight, don't submerge them in hot water and don't leave them under tension from your yarn. Please screw in bobbin ends gently and tighten until they stop, do not force the bobbin to over tighten or it may break the threads, they should fit snug. All of these things can effect the integrality of the product.
