Custom 3D-Printed Bobbin for the Electric Eel 6 – Designed by Us!
I’ve always had a deep love for all things rainbow and a soft spot for delicate filigree that brings a touch of old-world romance. My husband took that inspiration and custom-designed this stunning bobbin end just for my Electric Eel 6, and now we’re thrilled to share it with you!
Printed in the new XL size, each bobbin is crafted with care. The shaft features both a hole and a slit for easy lead line attachment, and every bobbin is fully tested before it leaves our hands. Bearings are included for smooth spinning.
Each bobbin is truly one of a kind. The colors shift and blend throughout the printing process, making every piece unique—we can’t predict exactly where the colors will begin or end, but that’s part of the magic. You may notice fine lines along the shaft, a natural characteristic of 3D printing.
To showcase the range of stunning colors, I’ve included photos of multiple bobbins. The rainbow variations make each one an exciting surprise!

3D Print Disclaimer: 3D Printing leaves subtle variations on the print including lines and fill. It can create variations in the color print as well. Gradients and rainbow prints cannot be guarantied on which color the gradient starts and finishes. Please don't leave them next to direct heat such as fireplaces, stoves or heating vents, Don't leave them in direct sunlight, don't submerge them in hot water and don't leave them under tension from your yarn. Please screw in bobbin ends gently and tighten until they stop, do not force the bobbin to over tighten or it may break the threads, they should fit snug. All of these things can effect the integrality of the product.
