As a new customer, I was very impressed by the service ---and quality of bobbins received from The spinning Siren! When there was some confusion about listed colors being offered for them, the owner was quick with a clarifying explanation, then immediately UPDATED the online info so no others would have similar confusion! The bobbins arrived promptly, just as described color-wise, and they were exactly what I wanted! I was incredibly impressed by all aspects of the services (AND BOBBINS) received. Will gladly refer others, and will be a repeat customer, no doubt!
I love my eew nano case/base kit. It seems really well made with really pretty material that honestly is the perfect color exactly what I was looking for. The base is especially useful as the nano tends to get pulled off of surfaces really easy and the base gives it a but more stability and weight. The little screws that lock into the (frankly useless) suction cup spots are adjustable and you can fully tighten the spinner down to make it fully stable.
I heard about this company on the love in stitched podcast with knitty Natty and I'm so glad she shared. The bobbins are so beautiful and really make me want to use my espinner more often than the plain ones it came with and all the little matching bits like the orifice reducer and little replacement hooks are great. The only things I can say feedback wise are that the 3d printed orifice hooks are cute but seem very flimsy and not really rigid enough to pull your leader through. And there's also some little bits in the accessories bag that ik not even sure what to do with, so maybe a little parts list would be nice to explain exactly what these little things are? Also be careful scewing your bobbins ends on. My husband hulked out on one of mine and sorta cracked it along the filament lines by the leader hole where it was a little weaker. Super glue did the trick fixing it tho. I would say that was most likely user error as he is not used to being delicate with these kinds of things. Anyway thanks, I love love love your products! 🤩
